Letter from the Founder
For the last few years, business leaders have been flooded with AI. New models, new tools, new agents, new copilots, and new promises to make everyone more productive. Some of it is extraordinary. Some of it is still messy and very much a work in progress.
But I think we are missing the bigger story.
AI is not simply changing how work gets done. It is changing the assumptions businesses were built on. That is what I call The Great Business Rewiring™.
The Risk of Incremental Thinking
The biggest risk I see right now is not that leaders are ignoring AI. It is that too many are thinking about it incrementally.
Which tool should we buy? How do we make this workflow faster?
Those questions matter. But they are not big enough.
What Business Rewiring Actually Looks Like
What happens when workflows are redesigned instead of simply automated? When software becomes adaptive instead of static? When products can be built in days instead of months, and AI-native competitors enter industries with smaller teams, different economics, and none of the legacy assumptions?
That is not just productivity. That is business rewiring.
We are already seeing a new generation of companies — including Lovable, Harvey, EliseAI, and Higgsfield — redesigning how entire industries operate and showing what becomes possible when intelligence is embedded from the beginning.
Not because every company needs to become an AI startup, but because they reveal what is possible when we stop designing around pre-AI constraints.
We Have Seen This Pattern Before
The internet did not simply give businesses websites and e-commerce. It changed distribution, customer behavior, industries, and economics. The companies that pulled ahead understood what had suddenly become possible and built differently because of it.
I believe we are at one of those moments again. Only this time, the shift is not simply access to information. It is access to intelligence and autonomous execution.
That is why we are building AI BusinessCon™.
A Different Room for a Different Conversation
There are already great conferences focused on models, infrastructure, developers, tools, and implementation. We want to build a different room, centered on the people responsible for the business itself.
After a career spanning corporate strategy, growth, entrepreneurship, emerging technology, and seven years helping build DC Startup & Tech Week, I found myself advising one of the earliest agentic AI development environments.
Since then, I have felt a growing responsibility to help close the fluency gap between the relatively small group of people deeply exposed to the real possibilities of this technology and the much larger group of leaders who will have to make decisions because of it.
You Are Invited
So we are building the room, and you are invited.
On March 2–3, 2027, at Fuse | DC Metro Area, AI BusinessCon™ will bring together established CEOs, AI-native founders, operators, investors, frontier AI leaders, and people actually redesigning how businesses work.
Some will be names everyone knows. Some will not. Fame is not the filter. Signal is.
This is the inaugural year, and we are building it now. The agenda is being shaped, speakers are being curated, and founding sponsors and partners who want to help shape the future of business are coming together.
If you are responsible for leading a company through this shift, building the next generation of one, or simply know the current AI conversation is not big enough, I hope you will be in the room. Because the businesses that define the next decade will not simply be the ones that use AI. They will be the ones with enough fluency to rethink, reimagine, and rewire how business works.
That is The Great Business Rewiring™.
And that is why we are building AI BusinessCon™.
